Wilbert Hamilton, a Montgomery native, is the founder of Hamilton Wealth Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor the only black owned investment firm in Alabama. He works mainly out of the Atlanta, GA office but also has a presence in Montgomery, Huntsville, and Birmingham, AL. He offers clients and institutions a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of experience in the financial services industry.

From 2009 – 2016 Wilbert focused on retirement plan development, management, and implementation for multiple universities, corporations, and high net worth individuals. He also worked with non-profits and institutional and religious organizations to manage and implement financial donor and planned giving programs.

Wilbert has appeared in various financial publications, such as Bloomberg, Money, and Fortune. He has also been a featured speaker on WSFA, a leading news station in Alabama. Wilbert sits on numerous boards, including the Jimmy Hitchcock Award for Christian Leadership. In addition, he is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; 100 Black Men of America, where he has previously served as the economic development chair in the local chapter.

Wilbert holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds investment and insurance licenses in multiple states. Wilbert and his wife, Tiffany, have three sons, Kolby, Max, and Beau, and enjoy spending time traveling, participating in sports, and reading.
